Grace Mulholland

Violin

I manage The String Quartet and teach music in both secondary and primary schools in Lancashire. I am based in Preston and also play with Preston Opera Orchestra. If you would like any help or advice on music for your special event, please do get in touch.
Lesley Wilson
BMus (Hons) PGCE
Viola

Since relocating to the Northwest, Lesley has been working for Lancashire and Wigan music services, she also teaches privately at local schools. Lesley also works as a freelance musician and joined the Bolton Symphony Orchestra in 2001 and currently holds the position of co leader.

Liz is our resident expert music arranger, so if you require a certain piece that we don’t currently have in our repertoire please get in touch. Liz teaches violin and piano in primary and secondary schools. She is based in the Leyland area and plays for Blackburn Symphony Orchestra.
Penny Holt
BA (Hons)
Cello

Penny works for Lancashire Music Service mainly in the Lancaster area as a peripatetic teacher. She also works as a freelance musician playing with Bolton Symphony Orchestra, Lancaster Priory, Lancaster Choral society and Preston Opera. Penny is based in Blackpool.

We just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you and the rest of the Highgate String Quartet for your performance at our wedding at St James the Less on 25 August 2012.

We have received a number of comments both from our guests and the priest himself as to the lovely atmosphere that the quartet created for guests on arrival at the church and during the ceremony.

We eagerly await the DVD so that we can relive the day, which passed so quickly! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Highgate String Quartet to any of our friends and family in the future.
